You moron - "Velvet Underground were good for their time", what the fuck's that supposed to mean, what's changed in the last thirty years to make their music any less relevant, nothing because no-one ever followed on from where they left off, they'll always be just as radical as they ever were

I just don't see the point in trying to compare them to Q and VH1's favourite vaguely arty popsters - the Velvets will always be too dangerous to enjoy the dubious pleasures of such safe consumer consumption
